Job summary

Baird’s Private Wealth Management internship offers hands-on experience in a collaborative team. You will support Financial Advisors by reviewing reports, conducting research, and preparing for client meetings while applying classroom knowledge.

The program runs in Charlotte, NC, full-time for the summer (37.5–40 hours/week), starting June 2027; ideal candidates are pursuing a finance or business degree with strong communication and organization, aiming to learn and contribute through mentorship

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related degree preferred.
• Anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Interest in financial services and Private Wealth Management career.
• Strong verbal and written communication, with client-facing clarity.

Responsibilities

• Support projects from Financial Advisors by reviewing reports and conducting research.
• Prepare for client meetings and presentations.
• Assist with financial planning and market research.
• Handle admin tasks, calls and basic client questions.
• Contribute to branch marketing initiatives.
• Process paperwork and documents.
• Perform other duties and project support as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in finance or business (preferred)
