Job summary

Baird in Akron, OH is seeking Private Wealth Management interns to gain real-world experience by supporting financial advisors, preparing for client meetings, and contributing to research and branch marketing.

This summer internship runs full-time (37.5–40 hours/week), starting in June 2027, with hands-on projects, mentorship, and exposure to the day-to-day life of a financial services team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field is preferred.
• Anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later is preferred.
• Interest in financial services and developing a career in private wealth management is expected.

Responsibilities

• Support various projects from Financial Advisors (i.e. review reports and conduct research).
• Prepare for client meetings and presentations.
• Assist with financial planning and market research.
• Handle admin tasks, calls and basic client questions.
• Contribute to branch marketing initiatives.
• Process paperwork and documents.
• Perform other duties and project support as needed.
