Job summary

Baird is offering a summer internship in Private Wealth Management in the United States. Interns gain real-world experience, contribute as valued team members, and apply classroom knowledge to support Financial Advisors and their teams.

You will prepare for client meetings, assist with financial planning and market research, and handle administrative tasks while participating in a dynamic, mentorship-rich intern program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect clearly and professionally with clients and associates.
• Organizational excellence, with capacity to manage multiple priorities, attention to detail and on-time delivery.
• High level of motivation, proactivity and strategic thinking with a commitment to learning and contributing.

Responsibilities

• Support various projects from Financial Advisors (review reports and conduct research).
• Prepare for client meetings and presentations.
• Assist with financial planning and market research.
• Handle admin tasks, calls and basic client questions.
• Contribute to branch marketing initiatives.
• Process paperwork and documents.
• Perform other duties and project support as needed.
