ROBERT W. BAIRD & CO. INCORPORATED is offering a summer Private Wealth Management internship in Charlotte, NC.

The program runs full-time during the summer, 37.5–40 hours per week, with a June 2027 start date and opportunities to gain real-world experience working with Financial Advisors and teams. Ideal candidates are pursuing finance or business degrees with an anticipated December 2027 or later graduation, strong communication skills, and an interest in private wealth management.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related degree preferred.
• Anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Interest in financial services and developing a career in private wealth management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational excellence with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, attention to detail and on-time delivery.
• High level of motivation, proactivity and strategic thinking.
• Prior experience in an office setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support various projects from Financial Advisors (i.e. review reports and conduct research).
• Prepare for client meetings and presentations.
• Assist with financial planning and market research.
• Handle admin tasks, calls and basic client questions.
• Contribute to branch marketing initiatives.
• Process paperwork and documents.
• Perform other duties and project support as needed.
