Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Los Angeles, CA offers a Plumbing Engineering Summer Intern role. You’ll support project teams, learn to prepare design documentation, and contribute to mechanical system drawings under experienced engineers.

The program emphasizes hands‑on experience, lunch‑and‑learn sessions, and mentorship through the Education Training program. Candidates should be pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree and be in year two or beyond.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering, interested in Plumbing.
• Must be in at least the second year of study.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op is a plus.
• Knowledge of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation.
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
