Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in New York City is offering a Plumbing Engineering Summer Intern position. You will support our engineering teams, learn from experienced professionals, and help develop design documentation and electrical systems drawings.

The role emphasizes hands-on AutoCAD and REVIT work, field observations, and participation in the EDT program along with lunch-and-learn sessions. A pursuing Electrical Engineering degree is required, with second-year completion or higher preferred.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering.
• Minimum second year completed.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.
• Basic knowledge in design and calculation software; MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Electrical systems
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions
