Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Los Angeles, CA is offering a Plumbing Engineering Summer Intern position to support our engineering teams on mechanically complex building systems. You will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Revit, assist with design calculations, site visits, and participate in the Intern Education Program and EDT program.

This internship emphasizes teamwork, learning, and real project exposure while supporting the firm's commitment to innovative engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with interest in Plumbing.
• Must be at least in your second year of study.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op is a plus.
• MEP AutoCAD and Revit knowledge is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
