Job summary

Syska Hennessy Group in Chicago, IL invites a Plumbing Engineering Summer Intern to join our engineering team. You will assist in designing and documenting mechanical systems, learn AutoCAD and REVIT, and contribute to site visits and calculations while under supervision.

This paid summer program emphasizes hands-on learning through lunch-and-learn sessions, EDT mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Second-year or higher completion preferred.
• Previous engineering internship or co-op experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of MEP AutoCAD and REVIT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers in preparing design documentation.
• Prepare AutoCAD and Revit drawings of Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with design calculations and sizing building Mechanical systems.
• Assist engineers with field investigations and construction site visits to observe.
• Attend intern education program lunch-and-learn sessions.
