Job summary

The Cavalier Food Pantry, a service provided by Care and Support Services (CASS) at UVA, seeks a pantry stocker for May–August 2026. Primary duties include purchasing and procuring weekly product orders, restocking the CFP and its back-stock, and ensuring smooth operations including cleanliness.

The role requires initiative and the ability to work independently; heavy lifting and a personal vehicle may be involved. Work hours are 9 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday, about 15 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Purchase and procure weekly product orders for the Cavalier Food Pantry.
• Restock CFP and its back-stocking capacity; maintain cleanliness and order.
• Identify items to reorder and complete cleaning/organizational tasks.
• Work independently with initiative; occasional heavy lifting and use of a personal vehicle.
