Job summary

Education Unlimited is hiring as part of its summer program to deliver online and on-campus mock trial instruction for middle and high school students. Instructors will lead classes via Zoom and Google Classroom, adapting to cohorts of 8–12 learners and a camp schedule that runs July 27–Aug 7, with sessions from 8am to 2pm Pacific time.

Ideal instructors have 2+ years of mock trial experience, legal background, and a passion for teaching.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of teaching or leading mock trial.
• A practicing attorney, former attorney, or legal expert.
• Proven ability to lead small or large groups.
• Calm and professional demeanor.
• Willingness to work long hours.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Passion for education.

Responsibilities

• Teach daily seminars and workshops.
• Lead and prep students for trial.
• Track student work and deliverables to camp director.
• Mentor students and lead field trips.
• Ensure health and safety and instructional objectives.
