Mercer University is seeking a Summer Office Assistant for Housing and Residence Life. You will support daily office operations, answer phones, assist students and visitors, and aid with projects under the supervision of the Housing and Residence Life staff.
The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of Publisher/Canva and PowerPoint is preferred. Start date May 1, 2025, End date August 18, 2025, with 40 scheduled hours per week at $10.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, answering the phone, assisting students and/or other visitors to the office, making copies, running errands, and assisting with other functions of the office such as working on special projects as assigned by the professional staff members.
Must have experience with MicroSoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of Publisher (or Canva) and Power Point preferred. Experience in event planning and research is not required but is preferred.
Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour
