Job summary

The position involves performing basic nursing procedures appropriate for the patient’s age, under supervision, and expanding skills learned during clinical rotations as competencies are documented. A GPA ≥2.5 and current BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a GPA of at least 2.5.
• Within one year of completing nursing program.
• Ability to turn PC hardware on/off and work with a mouse; familiar with basic elements of a Windows environment and keyboarding; perform basic computer tasks with instruction; comfortable with learning new applications.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic nursing procedures with RN supervision.
• Provide age-appropriate patient care on assigned unit.
• Document activities and demonstrate growing nursing competencies.
