Qualifications

• Requires GPA of at least 2.5.
• Must provide patient care appropriate to the age of patients.
• Knowledge of growth and development principles and patient needs.
• Completed a clinical rotation and within one year of program completion.
• Ability to operate PC hardware and use Windows proficiently.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider card.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with patients and team.
• Ability to prioritize workload with analytical thinking.
• Must have own transportation and insurance.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Reports to Patient Care Manager and is partnered with an RN who supervises the intern.
• Performs basic nursing procedures appropriate for the age of patients served.
• Duties may expand as skills are learned and documented with RN guidance.
