Qualifications

• Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science Engineering
• Must be graduating between August 2027 and June 2029
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week
• Must be willing to work in a plant environment
• Knowledge of materials, substances, and their characteristics

Responsibilities

• Assist routine metallurgical and physical analysis of material samples
• Perform materials testing, standardization, and reporting in the lab
• Prepare reports and recommendations based on test analyses
• Support process modifications and continuous improvement
• Audit metallurgical processes against defined requirements, including CQI-9
• Safely operate and calibrate laboratory equipment
• Maintain test records and data in results databases
