Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Jacksonville, FL invites motivated undergraduates to join the Sales Leadership Development Program (SLDP) as a Sales Intern for the Summer Internship Program. This hands-on role exposes you to the sales and commercial environment within our Vision/MedTech business, with field shadowing, project work, and collaboration with teams supporting the sales organization. Target Hire Date: 06/07/2027.

Target End Date: 08/13/2027. Location: On-site in Jacksonville, FL.

Qualifications

• GPA minimum 3.0.
• Undergraduate student entering junior or senior year.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in sales, healthcare, or MedTech.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to shadow field-based sales roles.
• Prior internship or project experience in sales, business, marketing, or analytics.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Shadow field-based Territory Account Managers to observe customer interactions, selling strategies, and territory management.
• Participate in ride-alongs, customer engagements, and in-service observations where appropriate.
• Learn how our sales team's partner with Optometrists and healthcare partners to deliver customer and patient value and drive sales.
• Bring a project to life that supports the Field Sales Organization by partnering with sales and commercial leaders.
• Conduct competitive research and develop insights to support sales planning.
• Deliver a final presentation summarizing project outcomes and recommendations.
• Receive mentorship and guidance from SLDP leaders and experienced sales professionals.
• Participate in learning experiences that provide exposure to commercial strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership expectations.
