Job summary

Kingsbury, Inc. in Philadelphia is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for a hands-on summer program within the Engineering Department. You will work on relevant projects alongside teammates from Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales, contributing ideas and feedback to improve designs and processes.

You will participate in safety trainings, attend required meetings, and help maintain quality standards while leveraging state-of-the-art equipment. Flexible summer schedule may apply.

Qualifications

• Sophomore or junior year in an accredited engineering program.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and design interest.
• Experience with design/analysis via school projects or hobbies.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales on relevant projects.
• Provide feedback to managers on improvements for functionality, efficiency, or profitability.
• Demonstrate Kingsbury safety mindset and comply with safety requirements.
• Attend required trainings and meetings (e.g., safety and department meetings).
• Provide updates to subject matter experts on assigned tasks.
• Support quality assurance across Kingsbury products and processes.
