Job summary

PennEngineering is seeking motivated, innovative students for our 2027 Summer Internship Program in Danboro, PA. You’ll gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with teams that do truly amazing things.

Join us as we build the future in engineering. During the 10–12 week internship, you’ll work with a mentor, explore our manufacturing and research facilities, and contribute to real projects guided by engineers and leaders.

Qualifications

Pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with solid modeling, drafting, FEA software, and MS Office.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience delivering presentations.

Responsibilities

Modeling, drafting, and drawing of fasteners, fixtures, installation or testing equipment.
Perform teardowns of target application and/or competitive product; document findings.
Perform destructive/non-destructive testing, installation, and measurements.
Collaborate with sales/marketing to evaluate concepts for market acceptance.
Coordinate with manufacturing to facilitate samples and production.
Purchase and assemble test fixtures and assemblies.
Participate in brainstorming and problem solving.
Undertake research to learn new processes, products, and technologies; share with global team.
