Plante Moran, PLLC is seeking a communications support specialist to help inform staff about firm initiatives and celebrate achievements. You will contribute to internal and external communications, draft articles, posts, and press materials, and assist with change management in a fast-paced team environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field, strong writing skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least three years of study in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or another related degree.
• Academic success with a minimum GPA as applicable
• Previous marketing internship experience; communications focus preferred

Responsibilities

• Write short articles for intranet on topics like diversity, equity, and inclusion; post to intranet
• Write brief articles for plantemoran.com highlighting media placements
• Write social media posts to share firm news or initiatives
• Write press releases to announce firm news
• General coordination duties such as scheduling meetings and updating the project management system
