Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking a dedicated Communications Writer to support our firm-wide communications team. You will craft intranet articles, external content, social posts, and press releases while coordinating related tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in communications or related fields, strong writing skills, and internship experience in marketing or communications.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least three years of study toward a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
• Academic success (GPA 3.0).
• Previous marketing internship experience; communications-focused preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Write short articles for our intranet on topics like diversity, equity, and inclusion; new firm initiatives; and client success stories and post to our intranet
• Write brief articles for plantemoran.com that highlight our media placements
• Write social media posts to help share firm news or initiatives
• Write press releases to announce firm news
• General coordination duties—scheduling meetings, entering work into our project management system, posting articles to our intranet
