Job summary

RHI Magnesita is seeking Engineering students for its Summer 2027 Manufacturing Engineering Internship Program. This fully on-site, paid internship offers hands-on experience in a world-class manufacturing environment, contributing to plant performance, safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will join either Production Engineering or Maintenance & Reliability Engineering teams, working with experienced engineers, supervisors, and plant leadership to tackle real business challenges and develop

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Support process improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and bottlenecks.
Assist with root cause investigations related to production issues and variability.
Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
Support documentation updates and capital/improvement projects.
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve plant performance.
