Job summary

RHI Magnesita is offering a Manufacturing Engineering Intern program for Summer 2027 at our York, PA facility. The role supports Production or Maintenance & Reliability Engineering teams to improve safety, quality, productivity, and equipment reliability.

You will work with experienced engineers in a manufacturing environment, developing technical, analytical, and leadership skills while gaining exposure to industrial equipment and automation systems.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field listed.
• Sophomore–Graduate student in good academic standing.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office; able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with process improvement initiatives for safety, quality, productivity, and cost reduction.
• Collect, organize, and analyze production data to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
• Support root cause analysis and Lean Manufacturing projects.
• Update SOPs, process documentation, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve operations.
