RHI Magnesita N.V. is offering a Summer 2027 Manufacturing Engineering Internship on-site in Canton, OH. Students will support Production Engineering or Maintenance & Reliability, work with experienced engineers, and gain hands-on experience on real plant projects.

The program emphasizes safety, data analysis, Lean practices, and cross-functional collaboration, with mentorship and potential future opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, electrical, manufacturing, chemical engineering or related field.
• Junior or Senior year in Fall 2027 preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Production Engineering or Maintenance & Reliability teams on projects.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and bottlenecks.
• Assist with Lean manufacturing, process improvements, and documentation updates.
• Participate in root cause investigations and capital/project work.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve plant performance.
• Prepare reports and presentations on project results.
