Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. The 12-week, on-site program offers hands-on experience with electronic product assembly and modern manufacturing processes under experienced mentors.

You will rotate through manufacturing functions, work on real production improvements, and build foundational knowledge in lean methodologies while pursuing professional growth and potential certifications.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Coursework or project experience in manufacturing, electronics or production systems.
• Strong grasp of engineering principles and ability to read drawings/schematics.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, improvement, and optimization of manufacturing processes for electronic assemblies.
• Create and update work instructions, process documentation, and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collect data for root-cause analysis.
• Evaluate equipment, fixtures, and tooling; learn setup and operation procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to enhance product quality and efficiency.
