Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company offers a paid 10-12 week Management & Sales Internship in our retail stores. This summer program provides hands-on experience in management, sales, and store operations, along with meaningful customer experiences and a team-based project.

You will gain insight into outside sales by shadowing a Sales Representative and collaborating with management, with structured time spent across departments. The role emphasizes professional growth and practical business learning.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
• Maintain product displays and assist customers by recommending items that meet their needs.
• Develop a strong understanding of store merchandise to answer customer inquiries and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Restock shelves, support inventory management, and contribute to visual merchandising efforts.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions, product preparation/mixing, and general store maintenance.
• Help with unloading deliveries, organizing stockrooms, and ensuring efficient inventory flow.
• Participate in required training sessions and adhere to store policies, including safety and loss prevention.
• Collaborate with interns to address a real business challenge or store initiative and present outcomes.
