A leading defense contractor is offering a Machine Shop Intern position at their York, PA facility for summer 2026. Interns will gain hands-on experience working in various departments, focusing on machining processes and inspection without operating machinery independently. Candidates must be full-time students pursuing a degree in Welding Engineering with a GPA of 2.75 or higher, and provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. This position offers a first shift schedule, and interns must follow safety policies and attendance rules.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work at a Federal Defense contracting facility requiring proof of U.S. Citizenship.
• Overall GPA of 2.75 or above desired.

Responsabilités

• Train in multiple departments to learn machining processes and inspection.
• Work first shift from 6:30am to 3:30pm.
• Abide by all safety policies and the attendance policy.
