Job summary

Mason Controls is seeking an Operations Intern – Machine Shop in Sylmar, CA for Fall 2026. The internship provides practical experience in planning, design, fabrication, programming, and project management within a manufacturing environment.

Interns will work on defined projects, track progress, present results, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams while following shop safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Basic programming knowledge (Python, C++ or similar).
• Familiarity with CAD or 3D printing preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
