Job summary

Wabtec's LEAD IT internship invites rising juniors and seniors to explore leadership, cloud, ML, cyber security, and agile software development through hands-on projects at our Pittsburgh, PA and Chicago, IL locations. The 10-week, full-time paid program includes executive mentorship and career development opportunities.

During the internship, you will work on real-world IT initiatives, collaborate with enterprise IT leaders, and possibly join the full-time rotational program after completion.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a STEM field with Software/IT experience.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 (cumulative or in major).
• Available for 40 hours per week for 10 weeks this summer.
• Rising junior or senior graduating between Dec 2027–Jun 2029.

Responsibilities

• Work on substantial IT projects with real business impact.
• Collaborate with IT and software teams on emerging technologies.
• Learn and apply design patterns and industry standards.
