Job summary

NiSource is seeking a Summer IT Network Intern to contribute to infrastructure delivery and monitoring efforts. Based in Columbus, OH or Merrillville, IN, the program runs 12 weeks starting May 2027, offering hands-on project work and collaboration with engineers and leaders.

Interns will gain exposure to ITIL-based processes, network design leadership, and enterprise monitoring tools, while building professional relationships and participating in development activities and team-building events.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in data science, CS, CE, statistics, or mathematics.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.
• At least one year of undergraduate study completed.

Responsibilities

• Support network infrastructure delivery and monitoring.
• Develop monitoring tools and automation.
• Collaborate with teams and program managers to mature end-to-end monitoring.
