Job summary

NiSource is offering a 12-week Summer IT Network Internship based in Columbus, OH or Merrillville, IN. Interns will gain hands-on experience in network design leadership, monitoring, and ITIL-based process development while collaborating with enterprise teams.

Successful candidates will work 40 hours weekly during May 2027 start, building professional relationships and participating in development activities within NiSource's utility operations. Relocation is not required for local candidates.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in data science, CS, CS engineering, statistics, or mathematics with GPA 3.0+.

Responsibilities

• Assist network delivery and IT operations with monitoring tools and processes.
• Contribute to incident, change, asset, and configuration management activities.
• Collaborate with teams to learn monitoring practices and support end-to-end system monitoring.
