Job summary

Arizona Public Service (APS) is offering a paid Information Technology Intern position for a 10-week summer program in Arizona. You will work with IT professionals on real projects across application development, data management, and infrastructure, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to security and digital solutions.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited IT program with a 3.0+ GPA, strong learning agility, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate degree program in Information Technology or related field.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred; involvement in campus IT clubs or related student organizations is preferred.
• Interest in IT disciplines such as application development, data management, infrastructure, or digital solutions.
• Strong learning agility and communication; willingness to take on new challenges in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs simple to intermediate analysis and design tasks; may assist in preparing business/engineering plans, designs, cost estimates and studies.
• Assists in research, documentation, studies or technical reviews; summarizes results in written reports or presentations.
• Uses internal resources to learn business/engineering operations and applies learning to assignments.
• Coordinates efforts with other disciplines/departments to achieve project goals and tasks.
• Performs other related duties as required.
