Job summary

CIBC US in New York offers a Summer Internship in Investment Communications within the Private Wealth U.S. team. You will support communications, reporting, and research while collaborating with Investment, Performance, Marketing, and Compliance teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to investments and financial markets in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. The 10-week program (June–August) includes learning, networking and potential continued part-time experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, finance, marketing, communications, or related field.
• Minimum 3.2 GPA.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist with quarter-end performance reporting and coordinate deliverables across teams.
• Draft and edit internal and external investment materials (market commentaries, reports, presentations).
• Research industry trends, competitors, and investment themes for communications projects.
• Create charts, graphs, tables for presentations and materials.
• Support due diligence questionnaires, tracking and submissions.
• Maintain content on SharePoint and Seismic sales enablement platform.
• Track deadlines on the team’s Investment Communications calendar.
• Provide general support for investment initiatives (formatting, review, QC).
