CIBC's Summer Internship Program offers a dynamic 10-week experience (June–August) to complement your academic training and support career growth. The Private Wealth Intern focuses on relationship management, wealth strategy, and business development within a client‑facing setting, with hands‑on assignments, mentorship, and exposure to banking solutions.

The program emphasizes networking across the bank, leadership interaction, and skills development in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and strong interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop client relationships and understand investment strategies to deliver exceptional client service.
• Learn estate planning, philanthropic advisory, and holistic wealth management.
• Support sales initiatives and build new business opportunities while strengthening client relationships.
