Job summary

CIBC’s Summer Internship Program offers a dynamic 10-week experience (June–August) designed to complement your academic training and support your career goals. The Private Wealth Internship will involve exposure to senior leaders, daily executive tasks, and cross-functional projects while you develop both technical and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• University or college student majoring in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Interested in the stock market and financial services.

Responsibilities

• Gain unique exposure: Work closely with our CEO and senior Private Wealth team members.
• Supporting day-to-day executive responsibilities and gaining firsthand insight into leadership decision-making.
• Participate in strategic projects: Collaborate with the Operating Committee; assist with cross-functional initiatives.
• Learn: Engage in hands-on assignments, structured training, and development of both technical and analytical skills.
• Connect: Build relationships across the bank, interact with employees and executive leadership.
• Grow: Benefit from mentorship, leadership guidance, and community outreach opportunities, while developing both soft and hard skills.
