Job summary

CIBC’s Summer Internship Program is a dynamic, 10-week experience designed to complement your academic training and support your career aspirations. We offer a blended work arrangement; details will be discussed at interview.

As a Private Wealth Intern, you will develop client relationships, learn wealth management strategies, and support sales initiatives while collaborating with teams across the bank. This paid internship includes mentorship and exposure to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 3.0 GPA minimum and strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028; must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop client relationships and understand investment strategies to deliver exceptional service.
• Learn estate planning, philanthropic advisory, and holistic wealth management.
• Support sales initiatives and build new business opportunities; strengthen client relationships.
• Explore private banking solutions, including loans and deposits, through hands-on assignments.
• Connect by networking across the bank and engaging with staff and executives to grow professionally.
