Job summary

BNY Mellon is offering a 10-week Summer Internship Program in New York focused on People, Engagement, and Impact. You will work across governance, employee relations, and policy, contributing to data-driven people strategies and AI-enabled processes.

The program provides hands-on project work, mentorship, and exposure to BNY Mellon's integrated business model, helping develop skills in analytics, employee experience, and corporate affairs across a global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year undergraduate degree with a focus in business or technology.
• Graduating Dec 2027 or May 2028 (U.S.).
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support People, Engagement, and Impact initiatives across governance, employee relations, public policy, and philanthropy.
• Analyze onboarding, mobility, and employee experiences using feedback, dashboards, and people insights.
• Test generative AI pilots to enhance People and Corporate Affairs operations (drafting articles, streamlining communications, powering internal help bots).
• Build dashboards tracking engagement trends, exit patterns, learning participation, employee relations themes, and community impact measures.
• Assist internal talent mobility by matching employees to roles or projects based on skills and interests.
