Job summary

PACCAR Parts in Renton, WA offers a Fleet Pricing Summer Internship to gain hands‑on experience in pricing strategy, analytics, and process improvement. You will work with Fleet Services, Pricing, Analytics, and Materials Management to analyze data, develop recommendations, and support strategic initiatives across the PACCAR Parts network.

During the program, you will collaborate with managers and senior leaders, build Tableau dashboards, and present your summer project with recommendations.

Qualifications

• Students currently enrolled in college pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Marketing, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Junior or senior standing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic fleet pricing initiatives, including market basket development, pricing standardization, and customer pricing analysis.
• Analyze customer, sales, and pricing data to identify trends, growth opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Develop and enhance Tableau dashboards and business intelligence solutions that support pricing and sales decisions.
• Present data‑driven recommendations to Fleet Services leadership and contribute to process improvement.

Requisition Summary

PACCAR Parts has an exciting Fleet Pricing Summer Internship opportunity at our headquarters in Renton, WA. This internship offers hands‑on experience in pricing strategy, business analytics, process improvement, and customer‑focused solutions that support some of North America’s largest commercial fleets.

The selected candidate will work alongside Fleet Services, Pricing, Analytics, and Materials Management professionals to analyze business trends, develop data‑driven recommendations, and support strategic initiatives that impact fleet customers across the PACCAR Parts network.

During the internship, you will:

• Work directly with Managers and Senior Leaders on high‑impact business initiatives.
• Gain hands‑on experience with Tableau (Snowflake), Salesforce, Servigistics, and advanced analytics tools.
• Lead a summer project focused on a real business challenge and present recommendations to leadership.
• Develop data analysis, project management, and presentation skills.
• Build relationships with industry professionals through mentorship and networking opportunities.

Job Functions / Responsibilities

• Support strategic fleet pricing initiatives, including market basket development, pricing standardization, and customer pricing analysis.
• Analyze customer, sales, and pricing data to identify business trends, growth opportunities, and actionable insights.
• Develop and enhance Tableau dashboards and business intelligence solutions that support strategic pricing and sales decisions across the PACCAR Parts network.
• Present data‑driven recommendations to Fleet Services leadership while contributing to process improvement and business optimization projects.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Support maintenance and enhancement of fleet customer information and digital resources.
• Assist with dealer and fleet communication initiatives.
• Help coordinate fleet‑specific programs and strategic projects.
• Support executive presentations and business reviews.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects with Pricing, Analytics, Marketing, and Materials teams.
• Assist with Multi Service and other fleet‑focused initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in Business Analytics, Pricing, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, or Data Analytics.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Team‑oriented with strong collaboration skills.

Wage Scale or Salary Range

The salary range for our intern positions is as follows:

• Undergraduate Students: $25.00/Hour
• Graduate Students: $30.00/Hour
• Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
