Job summary

Apogee Enterprises, Inc. invites interns for Summer 2027 across multiple locations to gain hands-on project experience in a structured 12-week program.

You will work with logistics, planning, and production teams, support material movement, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while developing professional skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, or related engineering field.
• Sophomore, junior, or senior standing during internship.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Interest in manufacturing and hands-on engineering work.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work with engineering, production, maintenance, and quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Work with logistics, planning, and production teams on real projects.
• Support planning, coordination, and movement of materials.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Assist with tracking inventory and material levels.
• Help coordinate shipments and deliveries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Assist with purchasing and supplier communication.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Our team is hiring interns at our Cincinnati, OH, Faribault, MN and Louisville, KY locations for Summer 2027. These positions go from May-August (12-week program) and offer hands-on project experience, professional development, and much more!

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at a four year college or university in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management, or a related engineering field.
• Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing at the time of the internship.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Interest in manufacturing and hands-on engineering work.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineering, production, maintenance, and quality teams.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and spending time on the production floor.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
