Job summary

The South Dakota Bureau of Human Resources and Administration in Pierre invites applicants for an Intern - DCI Sex Offender Registry for the Summer session (May–August). The intern will assist Sex Offender Registry Staff with routine duties, receive and send daily mail, perform verifications, and support registry maintenance under supervision.

Applicants must be current part-time or full-time students, have completed one year by internship start, and be able to pass a background check and drug

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a part-time or full-time student during application.
• By internship start, have completed at least one year of study.
• Preference for juniors/seniors; SD residents preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Sex Offender Registry Staff with daily duties.
• Receive and send daily mail.
• Perform 2nd party registration verifications.
• Help maintain the registration records and assist with special projects.
