Job summary

The Hanover Insurance Group offers a 10-week Summer Internship in its Actuarial & Analytics team. Students gain hands-on experience on pricing, data analysis, and reporting while being mentored by leaders and experts.

The program includes workshops, team-building activities, and a final presentation to management. We seek enrolled students with strong analytical skills, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and the ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Full-time 10-week internship commitment.
• Legal work eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
• Strong analytical concepts, practices and procedures.
• High motivation, strong attention to detail and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Compile and validate IT system requirements to implement filings.
• Test pricing systems for filing adherence.
• Analyze company and industry experience as required.
• Prepare reports and data compilations as requested.
• Draw inferences from data collected and communicate results.
• Conduct competitive analyses and prepare preliminary recommendations.
