Job summary

Excellus BCBS in New York offers a 10-week Summer College Internship Program for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored, and participate in development workshops across business and IT tracks.

The program provides hands-on experience in Records and Information Management, governance, Microsoft 365, data lifecycle management, and change management. Housing is not provided; interns may work in technical or non-technical areas.

Qualifications

• Pursuing full-time undergraduate or graduate degree.
• Majors/degree programs include Information Systems, Information Science, Business, Cybersecurity, Data Management, IT, MLIS, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with staff at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience supporting Records and Information Management initiatives.
• Assist with retention policies across SharePoint sites and content ingestion for IER.
• Support governance, training materials, file migration, and program metrics/compliance activities.
