Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is offering a paid Application Integration intern position for the summer, May–August 2027, at our Cranberry facility. The role is full-time and hybrid, reporting to the Application Integration Supervisor.

You will support the team with documentation, ticket review, and basic operational tasks across enterprise applications. The role targets students pursuing IT/CS degrees and who have completed at least their sophomore year.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related degree.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.

Responsibilities

• Participate in installation/upgrades of applications, including patches and major releases.
• Review and update tickets in the team queue, document status and escalate issues.
• Create and maintain knowledge articles, job aids, checklists for supported applications.
• Collaborate with team members to learn standard support processes and documentation practices.
• Participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions to understand enterprise app support.

About the role:

As an Application Integration intern, you will support the Application Integration team with support, documentation, ticket review, and basic operational tasks for several applications at Westinghouse. You will learn how our team installs, configures, documents, monitors, and supports enterprise applications in a professional, global IT environment.

You will report to the Application Integration Supervisor and be located at our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid position for the summer, May - August 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the installation/upgrades of applications, including patches and major releases of custom developed and COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) software
• Help review and update tickets in the team queue, including documenting status, gathering basic information, and escalating issues
• Create and maintain knowledge articles, job aids, checklists, for supported applications
• Collaborate with Application Integration Team members and other IT teams to learn standard support processes, change management expectations, and documentation practices
• Participate in team meetings, project discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions to develop understanding of enterprise application support

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related degree
• Completed Sophomore year of college
