Job summary

Allegion is offering a Summer Intern - Business Process Improvement in Carmel, Indiana. This short-term role lets you explore Allegion Business Operations, work with leaders, and contribute to customer-facing process improvements.

You will use MDI data and MS Excel/Power BI to analyze information, drive improvements, and help implement the roadmap for Operations Excellence across teams such as customer experience, technical support, and order management.

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, management, technology or engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for conducting market research and identifying opportunities for product improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Team player able to quickly establish successful cooperation with all colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Utilize MDI (Managing Daily Improvement) data to drive improvements.
• Drive structured problem solving for sustainable improvements for our customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including customer experience, technical support, order management and sales.
• Collect, analyze, and manipulate data from business systems using Microsoft Excel/Power BI.
• Lead cross functional projects in Interaction Quality, Responsiveness, Delivery, and People/Engagement.
• Assist with Business Operations Excellence Roadmap and rollout of MDI, LSW (Leader Standard Work), and integration of technology into our processes.
