Job summary

GuideStone Financial Resources in Dallas, Texas, invites a Summer Intern - Platform Analyst to support the Platform Management team. You will assist with research, analysis, documentation, testing, and continuous improvement of technology solutions and business processes in an agile environment.

You will gain exposure to product management, business analysis, customer experience, and process improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Incoming Junior/Senior or enrolled in a graduate program.
• Current student throughout internship duration.
• Degree concentration in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in technology, business analysis, process improvement and customer experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, agile methodologies, or project work is a plus.
• Self-starter with initiative, curiosity, professionalism, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating process maps, workflows, presentations, reports and other project documentation.

• Help coordinate and execute user acceptance testing, document results, and track issues.
• Support evaluation of business processes and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with team members to learn how technology solutions are designed, delivered and supported.
• Assist with training, communication, and go-to-market activities for new features and process changes.

The Summer Intern - Platform Analyst will support the Platform Management team in the research, analysis, documentation, testing, and continuous improvement of technology solutions and business processes. Through hands‑on participation in projects and agile teams, this role will gain exposure to product management, business analysis, customer experience, process improvement, and technology delivery practices while contributing to initiatives that support internal and external customers.

What You Will Do:

• Assist with research, analysis, and documentation activities for technology, process improvement, and business initiatives.
• Support the gathering and organization of business requirements, customer feedback, and stakeholder input.
• Assist with creating process maps, workflows, presentations, reports, and other project documentation.
• Participate in agile team activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and team meetings.
• Help coordinate and execute user acceptance testing activities, document results, and track issues.
• Support the evaluation of business processes and identification of opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with team members across the organization to learn how technology solutions are designed, delivered, and supported.
• Assist with training, communication, and go‑to‑market activities for new features and process changes.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

What You Will Need:

• Must be an incoming Junior or Senior, or enrolled in a graduate-level program.
• Must be a current student throughout the duration of the internship program.
• Degree concentration in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
