Job summary

GuideStone Financial Resources is offering a Summer Intern position with GuideStone Advisors. The intern will support advisory functions, contact clients on behalf of advisors, and collaborate with Marketing on outreach initiatives while updating the CRM.

The role provides exposure to all facets of the GuideStone Advisors team and requires an incoming junior or senior with a finance or business concentration and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Qualifications

• Incoming Junior or Senior college student
• Student for duration of internship program
• Degree concentration in Business Administration, Finance, or Financial Planning (strongly preferred)
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Self-starter with initiative and integrity
• Detail oriented
• Proficient PC skills
• Strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Assist advisors in onboarding new clients and serving existing clients.
• Follow up with prospects to acquire new assets for GuideStone Advisors.
• Assist management in assessing new financial technology.
• Participate in and present on a corporate intern project.

The Summer Intern in GuideStone Advisors will support the advisory functions of the team, including making contacts to clients on behalf of advisors, working with Marketing on outreach initiatives, and updating the CRM database. Throughout the internship, this role will be exposed to all the facets and functions of the GuideStone Advisors team.

What You'll Do:

• Assist advisors in onboarding new clients and serving existing clients.
• Participate in the acquisition of new assets by following up with prospects who have indicated an interest in rolling funds into GuideStone.
• Assist GuideStone Advisors management in assessing new financial technology.
• Participate in and present on a corporate intern project.

What You'll Need:

• Must be an incoming Junior or Senior
• Must be a student for the duration of the intern program
• Degree concentration in Business Administration, Finance, or Financial Planning (strongly preferred).
• Minimum of 3.0 GPA
• Self-starter with initiative and integrity
• Detail oriented
• Proficient PC skills
