Job summary

Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline is offering a 12-week, paid summer internship for students or recent graduates to join the Measurement team. Interns will shadow measurement technicians, participate in installation and calibration activities, and gain exposure to the pipeline industry through training and hands-on assignments.

The program runs May through August, with a 40-hour workweek and eligibility for a housing stipend if distance requires housing arrangements.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Currently enrolled in a technical college pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree.
• Planning a career in Pipeline Operations.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and assist measurement technicians with daily duties.
• Participate in installation, repair, calibration, and troubleshooting of measurement equipment.
• Attend training sessions and collaborate with the measurement team.
• Support regional projects and gain broad exposure to the pipeline industry.
