Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. invites students to join the Future Talent Program as summer interns across PADT and LMA in Rahway, West Point, Boston, and South San Francisco.

The program spans 10-12 weeks and includes one or more projects to advance analytical methodologies for drug substances and products. Interns will work in state-of-the-art labs, gain hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation, data analysis, and present results.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student pursuing a BA/BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Available to work full-time for 10-12 consecutive weeks starting May/June 2027.
• Completed at least 2 years of study toward a bachelor’s degree by June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support development of analytical methodologies for drug substances and products.
• Document experimental details in electronic notebooks and analyze data.
• Present research results orally and in writing.
