Job summary

Merck is offering a 10-12 week summer internship across its PADT and LMA labs in Rahway, NJ; West Point, PA; Boston, MA; and South San Francisco, CA. Interns will work on developing analytical methodologies that impact drug substance and product development and will participate in team meetings.

Interns gain hands-on experience with instrumentation, data analysis, and scientific communication, while documenting results and presenting findings in oral and written formats.

Qualifications

• Enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a relevant science.
• Available for full-time 10–12 weeks starting May/June 2027.
• Must have completed at least 2 years of study by June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a team environment to develop analytical methodologies.
• Record experimental details in electronic notebooks with accuracy.
• Analyze and interpret data for potential publications or internal use.
• Present research results orally and in writing during project meetings.
