Job summary

Merck’s Future Talent Program offers 4-6 month co-op opportunities in the Research division, across multiple sites including Rahway, NJ; West Point, PA; Boston, MA; and South San Francisco, CA. Qualifications

• Availability to work full-time for 4-6 months starting early to mid-2027.
• Completed at least 2 years of study toward a bachelor's degree by June 2027.
• Strong academic performance, communication skills, teamwork, and ability to work in a multi-functional environment.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct day-to-day research in analytical chemistry methods for small molecules, vaccines, and biologics.
• Record experiments accurately in electronic notebooks and interpret data.
• Present research results orally and in writing.
• Attend departmental and project team meetings to understand drug development processes.
