Job summary

Allegion is seeking an IT Manufacturing Systems Intern to optimize how our manufacturing sites use our ERP system. You will coordinate ERP implementation and rollout plans, and assist with data cleanup and migration efforts.

You will work with engineers and business users, test IT developments, prepare functional design documents, and present a summer project to senior leadership. This internship provides exposure to real projects and mentorship within a global company.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong foundational understanding of IT concepts (networks, databases, cloud computing, or business software).
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data tools.

As an IT Manufacturing Systems Intern, you will play a key role in optimizing how our manufacturing sites utilize our ERP system. In this position, you will help drive high-level system performance by coordinating critical IT initiatives and supporting our ongoing ERP implementations.*Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.***What You Will Do:*** Coordinate ERP Implementation & Rollout plans* IT development testing to ensure delivered solutions function to design requirements and meet the overall need of business partners* Assist with data cleanup and migration efforts. Help compile data sets, process flowcharts, and reporting tools to prepare functional design documents* Complete and present a summer project to senior leadership**What You Need to Succeed:*** Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration, or a related field* A strong foundational understanding of general IT concepts (networks, databases, cloud computing, or business software)* Project management experience* Microsoft Excel* SQL Server Management Studio or other coding language preferred but not required* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
