Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company in New Stanton, PA, is seeking a paid electrical engineering intern to apply concepts from core coursework and collaborate with internal engineering teams on related projects. Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering required or equivalent such as mechanical/electrical engineering
• Complete sophomore year of college

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks using Software Packages such as ETAP, Mathcad, AutoCAD, or equivalent and new program packages.
• Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products/projects including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring.
• Work with other internal departments on similar engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
• Plan and schedule work tasks to meet assignment requirements.
• Evaluate, select and utilize standards, techniques, procedures, and criteria for development of engineering design documents including calculations and specifications.

About the role:
